Release & Marketing Coordinator

At Future House Music we're looking for a R/M Coordinator to join our team!

About the job:

If you love electronic music and you’re the kind of person who keeps a release plan, a spreadsheet and an email inbox under control at the same time, this role is for you!

We’re looking for a Release & Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Rotterdam! We run multiple record labels in the electronic music scene: Future House Music, The Myth of NYX (Tech House), Wobbles & Waffles (DnB) and On The House (Afro House). Behind every release that goes live, there’s a whole lot happening. That’s where you come in.

You don’t have to be the next marketing mastermind. You do need to be proactive, sharp and comfortable juggling multiple releases at once. Basically, you make sure the music gets the right promotion, the campaigns get moving and the chaos stays reasonably under control.

We’d like you on board by January 4th, and sooner is also possible .

Why Join Us?
You’ll collaborate directly with top-tier artists like Mike Williams, Nervo, Tujamo, Brooks, Chapter & Verse, VOLAC, Deeper Purpose, Mosimann, ShockOne, Cartoon, Loboski and many more! You’ll be working with us during Amsterdam Dance Event, as well as other (inter)national events throughout the year.

No two campaigns are the same here. You’ll join a close-knit team that takes the work seriously, without taking itself too seriously, and has room for your ideas.

What you will deliver:

  • Release Coordination: Run releases from planning to release day and beyond. That means calls w/ artists, release meetings, schedules, email chains, and collecting EPKs, bios and assets.

  • Reporting & Deals: Report release results to the team and our artists, and look for new promo opportunities and affiliate partnerships.

  • DSP Pitching: Pitch our releases to Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport and other DSPs, and keep our pitching overview up to date.

  • Campaigns & Promotion: Set up Spotify-, DJ promo, influencer, blog and radio campaigns, and write marketing pointers & release bios that make people want to listen.

  • Livestreams: Plan our stream schedule and set up and run streams together with our A&Rs.

  • Label Operations: Keep our smart URLs, newsletters, label websites and campaign budgets in order.

You:

  • You’re organised by nature, and you notice broken links, missing assets and wrong execution dates.

  • You’re proactive and politely persistent. You don’t wait three days to chase something that was needed yesterday.

  • You have a genuine interest in electronic music and the culture around it.

  • You’re comfortable with data analysis, spreadsheets, dashboards and online tools. Experience with Spotify for Artists, Songstats, Linkfire, Brevo, Inflyte or similar tools is a big plus, but the right mindset matters just as much.

  • Experience in music marketing, label operations, release management or artist services is a plus.

  • You speak and write fluent English (Dutch is a plus but not required).

What we offer:

  • A hybrid workplace, with our office in Rotterdam and room to work from home

  • A market-rate salary

  • 8% holiday allowance on top of your salary

  • An end-of-year bonus option

  • 24 paid vacation days per year

  • Travel compensation for your commute

  • Monthly team activity
